And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:15

MAYAN APOCALYPSE COUNTDOWN BEGINS

12/21/11 BEGINS THE FINAL YEAR OF THE LONG FORECASTED END OF THE MAYAN CALENDAR, WHICH MANY SAY BRINGS WITH IT THE END OF THE WORLD

For more than a decade now we have been treated to both theory and fact concerning the end time prophecy dealing with the supposed ending of the Mayan calendar. Soon all the hype will come to an abrupt end and the long awaited Mayan calendar mystery will be realized. In the meantime, the Mayan region is gearing up to take full advantage of this event.

An expected increase in tourism will bring curious people from all over the world to visit their ancient land. Mayan regional tourism, which usually sees around 22 million visitors, expects to see upwards of 52 million visitors this year, most of who are wondering if the world could possibly end in 2012.

Many celebrations and events are being planned much as we saw during the year 1999 and you can be sure local Mayan priests will be in high demand to perform religious ceremonies, burn incense and offer prayers to their gods. However, Yeanet Zaldo, a tourism spokeswoman for the Caribbean state of Quintana Roo, home to Cancun tells us “The world will not end. It is an era,” “For us, it is a message of hope.”

In case you are wondering, she is right, there is absolutely no chance that the world will end on December 21, 2012. The Bible is very clear that we will experience 3 ½ years of tribulation such as has never been seen upon the earth, culminating with the ascension of the two witnesses into heaven just before Jesus returns.

While we have had numerous tribulational events recently, they have not all been grouped into the tight 3 ½ year time frame that we are told they will happen in. The Bible also teaches us that the end will come in a fashion similar to that of a woman during pregnancy, as the day of delivery approaches her pain will increase more and more until the birth takes place.

We are told in 1st Thessalonians 5: 3 “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” Just as the woman is not able to escape her birth neither will those of us in the world be able to escape ours.

So, while we can clearly show that this day isn’t the end it may very well become the beginning of the end. Since there is a good chance the elite of the world would attempt to use this particular date to make a push that would indeed hurl the world into the tribulation, we have but one year more to wait.

Thomas Jefferson

I have decided to begin a series on the founding fathers of America, to see what they actually believed and to determine whether or not America was truly founded on the word of God.

My first subject of research is Thomas Jefferson, our third President. What did he actually believe about the word of God? Well, take a few minutes and read the quotes taken from his letters.

After reading the quotes, take a look at what Thomas Jefferson decided to do to the word of God.

Without further ado, let's allow Thomas to speak for himself. The following are several quotes from his letters.

“And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter. But may we hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in these United States will do away with this artificial scaffolding, and restore to us the primitive and genuine doctrines of this most venerated reformer of human errors.” —Thomas Jefferson, Letter to John Adams, April 11, 1823

The whole history of these books [the Gospels] is so defective and doubtful that it seems vain to attempt minute enquiry into it: and such tricks have been played with their text, and with the texts of other books relating to them, that we have a right, from that cause, to entertain much doubt what parts of them are genuine. In the New Testament there is internal evidence that parts of it have proceeded from an extraordinary man; and that other parts are of the fabric of very inferior minds. It is as easy to separate those parts, as to pick out diamonds from dunghills. —Thomas Jefferson, letter to John Adams, January 24, 1814

Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions. Ideas must be distinct before reason can act upon them; and no man ever had a distinct idea of the trinity. It is the mere Abracadabra of the mountebanks calling themselves the priests of Jesus." —Thomas Jefferson, letter to Francis Adrian Van der Kemp, 30 July, 1816

It is between fifty and sixty years since I read it [the Apocalypse], and I then considered it merely the ravings of a maniac, no more worthy nor capable of explanation than the incoherences of our own nightly dreams. —Thomas Jefferson, letter to General Alexander Smyth, Jan. 17, 1825

Christianity neither is, nor ever was a part of the common law. —Thomas Jefferson, letter to Dr. Thomas Cooper, February 10, 1814

Below are pictures of Thomas Jefferson's source Bibles that he used to cut and paste from. Also pictured is the book he pasted his chosen verses into.

Notice the care he took in carving up the Bible, it really speaks volumes for how he felt about the Bible.

As you can see, he didn't really write his own Bible as some believe, rather he "cut and pasted" (literally) his own Bible, carving up the word of God like a steak.

Yes, it is a hard fact, from the very foundation of our country we have been led by people who maintained an image of Christianity only because the majority of the people believed the Bible.

Many of our leaders held no such beliefs and today they would be proud to see the decline in Christianity. It was all a facade propped up to the degree necessary to fool the population at large, who ultimately show themselves to be sheep.

Rather than rolling over in their graves they would stand and cheer, yes friends we have been duped into believing that America was founded on Christian principles when it clearly was not. It was only the God fearing population that held our leaders to even pretend that they were Christian.

Now that that hold is weakening, they are free to be as Godless as they please, as they have been all along. Stay tuned for more research soon!

Book Notes

Hi all,

As you may know the books are back from the printer and I have already sold several copies. Thanks to those who have purchased the book, I hope you enjoy it. I am planning a two hour DVD to help further explain the subject but that may take some time. In the meantime I thought I would post any clarifications I become aware of here.

This being my first book it was quite a learning experience and as hard as I tried to keep typos and grammar errors out of it several mistakes did make it into the final print. Most have been simple errors that should not cause readers to be confused so I am not especially concerned about those.

However, in the back of the book, in the charts section there is one that I need to point out. In the heading called "Christ's birth to the beginning of His ministry" (chart c) I have listed the dates under the heading as "Tishri 10th 5 BC to Tishri 10th 27 AD" This should read 26 AD not 27 AD.

I have started correcting the error with white-out before shipping so you can check your book to see if that has been done by me. If I shipped it before I was able to make the correction, please go back and do it yourself so there will be no confusion.

In the meantime, if you should see an area that might have another mistake please email me so I can be aware of it, also if you have any trouble following it and would like more answers just email me and we can talk about it. There is nothing more satisfying than studying the Gospel with someone who is genuinely concerned.

Thank you for your support and interest.

Blessings,
Jonn

Thank God for Prayer

Many of you know that I write stories for the Vchannel, which is a ministry that deals with the far out and unusual material such as aliens, bigfoot, ect. Much of the writing process deals with searching for unusual stories to begin with, which can be quite time consuming.

In this light I would like to reach out to those of you who would be interested in helping us in this unusual ministry. Do you know of any strange happenings that might make for an interesting story that could be used to draw someone to the truth of the gospel?

Just send me an email with links to a news article or story that you think might be of use to the ministry. My searching the Internet for these strange stories has inspired this short article that I would like to share with you now. Blessings.

COMMENTARY ON PRAYER

As I search the Internet for news stories appropriate to the theme of the Vchannel I can’t help but realize how very much we need prayer. The realization becomes more and more clear as I read the unending drivel that is posted in all comment sections surrounding alien and exotic stories.

As I read through said comments seeking for an angle upon which to focus the story I can not help but feel a lonely sensation as I am reminded that the entire world lies in wickedness and there is no way to stop it.

Even comments from well meaning Christians fail because the corresponding comment will usually attack and completely disagree with the posted truth, thus creating the evil energy that fuels the Dragonspeak.

As Christians there are but few ways we can engage these people and none through dialog. In Matthew 7:6 we are told “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.”

This is exactly what we see when we try to engage this world in its present state of degradation. Just as the Bible says, when you reach out to them they will rend your comments just as a pig would if you tossed a set of treasured family pearls into its pen.

Then it further dawns on me that this isn’t just in the strange and exotic world of aliens, which I am so often times wading through, but in all media and in all human contact. Even when the Lord sends us souls who will listen we have to be on guard not to slip into the devious and demonic traps of the Dragonspeak.

As the body of Christ we understand that we must be ready always to speak the truth but at no point can we safely engage this world in dialog. Thus our flesh is often looking for someone to talk to and more often than not there are zero options, because we are spiritual beings.

In this light prayer takes on a new meaning, no longer simply a means of asking for things but of someone to freely talk to. It becomes a stronghold, a place of safety free from the ridicule of the world. A place where your pearls are not trampled, instead when casting them forth they are tenderly collected and highly treasured by the recipient, who is God, who gave them to us in the first place.

We are strangers in a strange land and we have no hope except in Him, for in Him is life and He is the light of the world. John 8:12 says “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

So, while our flesh is still mired in the muck of this world, as we have not yet experienced the resurrection of life, it is good to know we have Someone who is always ready to listen and One who calls us “friends”.

From Jeremiah to Jesus

Hi all,

I just wanted to announce the completion of my book. I have entitled it "From Jeremiah to Jesus". I thought I would post the preface here so you can get an example of what the book is about. I also scanned the cover from the proof copy. The main printing should be completed within a week or so.

PREFACE

While the subject that I ultimately deal with is of an incredible and exciting nature, the road to finding it, I can imagine, would be quite laborious to the average person who cares nothing for ancient Babylonian and Achaemenid kings and the events surrounding them.

And while I do expect the reader to have at least a minimum prior knowledge of these events I have also tried to write this book in a simple and easy to understand way and not in an “academic” way as you might expect from a college history professor.

However, it is from the book of Daniel that we are given the seventy weeks prophecy and if we want to understand the historical nature of this incredible prophecy we are forced to study the times and dates.

The amazing fact that this fulfillment could have ever been buried in our past is tantamount to watching the Red Sea split open, walking across on dry land and then just a few weeks later openly declare you wish you had never left Egypt.

Any attempt to remove the glory of this fulfilled prophecy must take extraordinary and quite obvious measures to do so. We see a good example of this in the removal of 240 years from the Hebrew calendar in a vain, and frankly pathetic, attempt to deny Christ.

Anyone with a modicum of historical understanding will quickly see the glaring blunders that the removal of these years has on the timeline of history. I find myself quite embarrassed for the whole lot of them as they embrace obvious lies rather than embrace their very own Savior, but I digress.

This book begins by laying the groundwork for understanding basic truths about the Hebrew calendar, the reckoning of days and the feasts of the Lord. These are important in reaching our goal of understanding when Christ began his ministry (26 AD) and when He died, resurrected and ascended into Heaven (30 AD).

Our history starts in earnest when we uncover the prophecy of the seventy years of captivity in Babylon, which begins from the first carrying away in 605 BC to the commandment given by Cyrus to rebuild the Temple in 536 BC. I also explain the all but forgotten character of Darius the Mede.

Understanding this timeframe is important because this is the time of the first commandment which is often disputed to be the one that initiates the seventy weeks prophecy of Daniel and once we gain a clear understanding of the seventy years we can better understand the seventy weeks.

Now, after the Temple is completed in 516 BC, we follow the timeline until the arrival of Ezra in 458 BC which brings with it yet another contender for the commandment that begins Daniel’s seventy weeks prophecy.

Finally, we arrive in 445 BC with Nehemiah, who is also given a commandment to return and rebuild Jerusalem, so this is the third contender for the start of the prophecy.

Usually the first thing that becomes clear when you begin to study this topic is that any one of these three commandments are so close as to make Christ’s arrival spot on and therefore undeniable, even to the most ignorant and knowledge rejecting among us.

However, if we dig deeper we can identify the precise commandment. This is important because once you pin it down all you have to do is start the countdown and 483 years later the Messiah is promised to show up.

You will be astonished to see how accurate the prophecy actually is and which commandment is the one spoken of in Daniel. I know I was.

Once the key is inserted into the door of understanding so much more opens up in front of us. Not only are we able to pin down the correct date but we are also able to flesh out many of the more obscure events in history.

When we finally arrive in 26 AD, we are able to uncover mystery after mystery concerning when and why things were done as they were. I remember being so excited the day I realized that I had pinned down the exact date of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.

From there it is easier to find these other dates such as His birth and then show compelling evidence of why that date is the correct one. Also we find the time when John is baptizing Jesus in the Jordan and officially introducing the Savior to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. So many wonderful understandings are there for the taking.

Frankly, I was intrigued enough to seek it out and then write this book so I could share my understanding with you. I hope you find it enlightening.

Dinosaurs in the Bible STUDY NOTES

Dragon: Strong’s Hebrew number 8577 "tanniyn" meaning land or sea monster

Notice how the descriptions suggest details about the dragons and not just simple references to them.

Isa 27:1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

Jer 51:34 Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out.

Ps 74:13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.

Jer 9:11 And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.

Jer 14:6 And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass.

Mic 1:8 Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.

Isa 13:22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

{The passage above from Isaiah 13:22 is often interpreted as "Jackals" (as in a large wolf or hyena) in some reference Bibles. However this is only a suggestion as to the meaning. The real meaning of the word is as above, a land or sea monster. The word jackal is used because the idea that it could actually be a dinosaur is often just too much to stomach. Many people’s entire belief structure is centered on evolutionary theory and information such as this is too devastating for them and they cannot hear it.}

Unicorn: Job 39: 9-12
9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?
12 Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?

Nu 23:22 God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.

Ps 29:6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

Ps 92:10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

Leviathan: Job 41-1-34
1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?
2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?
3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?
4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?
5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
6 Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?
8 Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.
12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.
13 Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle?
14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.
15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
17 They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
22 In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.
23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.
25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
26 The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.
27 He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.
28 The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.
29 Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.
31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
33 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.

Ps 104:26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

Leviathan is not only a large sea monster but it also was able to breathe fire. There is no doubt that the above passages are describing a terrible ocean dwelling dinosaur. Most likely a Pliosaur which is estimated to be up to 50 ft long and weigh around 45 tons.

Below are quotes from a newpaper telling about the discovery of one of these creatures.

They had short necks and huge, crocodile-like heads that contained immensely powerful jaws and a set of huge, razor-sharp teeth.

Richard Forrest, a plesiosaur expert, said "What is fantastic about this new skull, not only is it absolutely enormous, but it is pretty much in 3D and not much distorted," he said. "You have this wonderful lower jaw – and you can just see from the depth and the thickness that this was immensely strong.

"It could have taken a human in one gulp; in fact, something like a T-Rex would have been breakfast for a beast like this."

Using four paddle-like limbs to propel its bulky body through the water, the pliosaur made easy work of passing prey such as dolphin-like ichthyosaurs and even other plesiosaurs.

"These creatures were monsters," said David Martill, a palaeontologist from the University of Portsmouth.

"They had massive muscles on their necks, and you would have imagined that they would bite into the animal and get a good grip, and then with these massive neck muscles they probably would have thrashed the animals around and torn chunks off.

Sounds a lot like how the Bible described it 4000 years ago, and it could also breathe fire. Imagine that.

Behemoth: Job 40:15-24
15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

(In the verse above, many Bible references try to say this is an elephant or a hippopotomus but neither of these animals "moveth his tail as a cedar" but brachiosaurus did.)

18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.

Where the Eagles Be Gathered

Let’s take a few minutes and explore the topic of the pre-tribulation rapture.

First, I would like to preface my comments by saying this article is directed to the dyed-in-the-wool rapturists. So all others please try not to be offended but rather learn from the idiotic mistakes of others.

If you believe in the "rapture" you will tell me that Jesus was describing it in Luke 17:34-36 when He said:

"I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left."

Now, before I completely destroy the pathetic rapture doctrine I would like to quickly point out what we read in Matthew 24:39

"But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

We see here that those who knew not were the ones who were taken away. Does this not shake you at all? Of course not, because it is plain that you would rather make lies your refuge. The horrors of the tribulation are so great in your mind that you cannot fathom suffering through them, therefore you prefer to abide in the lie that is the pre-tribulation rapture.

You are a personal glaring example of what we read about in Isaiah 28:15

"Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:"

This is confirmed when you say that the tribulation shall pass through but it will not come unto you because you will be "raptured" out before it happens. It is a shame that I have to be so caustic here but how much plainer can it get?

Jesus plainly tells us that those who knew not are the ones that are taken, not Noah. In fact, we see neither Noah nor Lot are "raptured" but rather they are given a means of escape just as God will provide for those of us who are His children when the tribulation occurs. We read this in Proverbs 10:30.

"The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth."

Now, how is it you say we will be removed again? I can already hear the gears turning in your minds trying to come up with some excuse that makes sense of all this evidence against your precious rapture.

Don’t take me wrong here, this doesn’t necessarily mean that our physical bodies will be preserved. We understand that we are no longer physical beings but rather spiritual beings, hence being born again, but we see everyone so worried about their flesh.

Yes, we are so concerned about our pathetic hides. Don’t you know that your flesh is already dead but that in our new bodies not a hair of our head shall be harmed? We need to focus on the Spirit, not the flesh.

Now, you might be saying isn’t all this enough to destroy the doctrine? Well, if we were dealing with rational people this would be enough. If people cared about the truth, it would be enough but when we are dealing with people who make lies their refuge we have to realize that most of the time they are unmovable.

Therefore, it really isn’t my goal to change their minds but rather to persuade other’s not to take the same path. The rapture is so entrenched in the church that it will not be removed but perhaps a few can be pulled from the fire.

The underlying problem is that Christians today have ceded their birthright to physical Israel. They will tell you all day long that the "Jews" are the chosen people but what does the Bible tell us? In 1st John 2:22 we read:

"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."

So, I ask you plainly who is it again that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? Why, it’s the physical Jews isn’t it? So how is it they are the chosen people again? It seems to me that they are rather anti-Christ and if you believe the rapture you must understand that at the heart of that dastardly doctrine lies the belief that the Jews are the chosen people.

In effect the anti-Christ has set himself up in the Temple of God, claiming that he is God (were you waiting on a physical temple?) No, it is all spiritual, don’t believe me? We read in Ephesians 2: 19-22

"Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit."

Read that carefully. It is describing the believers as the Temple of the Lord. Yes, the combined body of believers, with Christ himself as the chief cornerstone, are fitly framed together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

And who is now sitting at the pinnacle of the Temple? You guessed it. It’s physical Israel sitting as the chosen people. The anti-Christ came right in and sat down in our very midst and almost no one noticed. Well, you better get out of there while you still can, yes get out of the churches for the anti-Christ is already taking his place there as their god.

Now, just to recap, I have shown with scripture who the anti-Christ is. I have show who the Temple of the Lord is. I have shown that the believers today revere the anti-Christ, and rest assured, it will not be long before his jealousy rages and he forbids all others and demands that everyone worship him. Yes, this is the truth.

Now, in conclusion, I am going to seal the deal and destroy the rapture doctrine with a little known and even less quoted verse that surprisingly comes right on the heals of the so-called rapture verses which we read earlier from Luke chapter 17.

Funny how you never hear this verse quoted from the rapture pulpits even though it is the very next verse. Let’s read it together now, it is Luke 17:37 and it reads:

"And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together."

What were they asking here? They wanted to know where all these people would be taken and what does Jesus tell them? He says if they want to know where they were taken just look for the eagles and there they would find them.

So, those taken are going to a supper but not the one they were expecting. Jesus is telling you that those taken are going to be destroyed. Those taken are going to be bird food. They aren’t invited to the marriage supper but rather they are the supper. …a supper for the eagles.

Wake up people!

The Road Less Traveled

My search for the Truth has been an interesting road. At each signpost I have intentionally opted for the road less traveled because we are clearly told the road to Life is straight and narrow and few there be that find it. So, logic would dictate to us that we should simply never follow the crowd.

The journey begins in a wide area, when we are asked to come to Christ. We don't know much at this point since we have just set out on the road.

We come to the first signpost, an arrow to the left points to the broad way and says follow the world but to the right another says follow Christ. We take the path less traveled.

The next signpost we reach is labeled "once in grace". To the left the sign reads "You can do whatever you want and no matter what you can never be lost". WOW, that sounds great. We see many walking that road and it sounds like fun. However, we see the other sign says, "No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." We take the path less traveled.

Next we come to the signpost which is labeled "Christmas". To the left we see "Good times, many gifts and family togetherness." That sounds so good. Plus, we see that most of the Church is celebrating it also, so surely there isn't anything wrong with it. The other sign simply says. "Christmas is a pagan lie. Don't do it." We take the path less traveled.

Soon after, we see the Easter signpost. To the left we see the Church celebrating Jesus' death and resurrection in the fashion of pagan sun worshippers. To the right we see persecution and ridicule for not joining in the pagan festivities. Still, we choose the path less traveled.

Then we see the Sunday worship signpost, to the left we see the entire Church world meeting and keeping Sunday holy. All our lives we have seen this, it seems so natural to us and everyone does it. However, the sign to the right tells us to recognize the Sabbath as holy. Again, we choose the path less traveled.

The next signpost is the Rapture. To the left we get whisked away to feast for seven years at a huge marriage supper in Heaven. To the right we see that we must endure the tribulation. We choose the road less traveled.

Finally one day we see the sign post to the left that says "We are the Church and we should celebrate all her pagan festivals, believe the rapture and once in grace doctrines." We see all of our friends and families following it. To the right we see a sign that says "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." and we realize we are not second class citizens behind the Jews but rather we are the Jews, Spiritual Jews. We take the road less traveled.

We come to yet another signpost. To the left says "children first, family first, country first." To the right the sign says, "God first." We take the road less traveled

The next path has people following what seems like the truth but actually it is only a road of pride. To the left we read "I know what God wants and I know I am right." To the right it says "God is right and we cannot understand his ways." We take the road less traveled

In the end we look around and there seems to be no one around.

Our road has become so narrow and straight that nearly all that used to walk with us have fallen away. The road became to narrow for them. Maybe they stopped walking back at the "once in grace" signpost or maybe they walked all the way to the "sunday worship" signpost, maybe they fell away at the loss of their rapture but in any case they have stopped walking the path.

It seems as if we are all alone, but Christ is leading us.

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."

Update

Hi all.

I haven't written in awhile, my new radio show, which can be heard on the Geo Media Network, has been keeping me pretty busy, but I thought I would do a quick update.

Most of the extra time I used to spend writing articles has been going into a book, which I hope to have completed soon.

Until I finish the book I will not be posting many articles.

In the meantime I thought I would periodically post a link to my radio show.

Click here to hear the broadcast. I hope you enjoy it.

You can email James Lloyd at james@geomedianetwork.com and request to be added to the list to receive the Geogram E-blast and access to the entire database of shows including mine.

Again, I hope you enjoy the broadcast.

Presuppositional Apologetics: Part 1

Below is a video that teaches indepth on the topic I mentioned recently on my radio program. This is the first video of a series known as Basic Training for Defending the Faith and it explains a technique known as presuppositional apologetics. The first lecture is called The "Myth of Neutrality".

Properly understood, this method is very powerful and it gets a lot of resistance from atheists who find themselves faced with a devastating reality that they cannot answer. Just as a mother blinded by the love of her children cannot see what spoiled brats they truly are so do the atheists react when given proof that without God they can't know anything.

You can link to the remaining segments of the lecture from Youtube. I will post the first videos of each lecture, being a total of five, in the near future. If you would like to hear my radio program you can go to www.geomedianetwork.com. The program airs Mondays at 3pm, Wednesdays at 8am, Thursdays at 1am and 10am and Fridays at 1pm, all times Pacific.

Enjoy.

The Doctrine of the Biggest Mouth

Often the doctrine that wins the day has nothing to do with the truth, instead it has to do with the person in the room who has the biggest mouth.

The guy with the most imposing demeanor, the guy that gets the support of those around him. The truth means nothing to him, only his beliefs, because as we all know he is always right. Mr. Big Mouth and his friends already know everything and they are here to teach others, not to learn.

They may pretend to learn but you can watch them squirm when a question is brought up that they cannot answer, or a question that undermines their beliefs. They begin looking for a way out, a way to continue with their beliefs unchanged. Most of the time they will not even lend an ear to the truth because that would require them to humble themselves and admit they are wrong.

What is the truth? If you were talking to someone about math and the problem of 2+2=4 came up. You would understand that as the truth. The truth we see in math is true regardless of what anyone believes about it. We look at this example and due to the fact that it is simple math we might believe the truth is easy to prove.

However, suppose Mr. Big Mouth stepped up and said that 2+2=5 would that make him correct? Would that damage the truth at all? Suppose Mr. Big Mouth told you this and all of his friends rallied around him and said he was right and you were wrong. Would that damage the truth at all? Would you begin to question yourself about whether or not 2+2 really did equal 4?

However, what if the formula A= π*r2 was brought up and you were asked to determine whether it was true or not. It wouldn't be quite as easy would it? You might actually have to do a little studying to decide whether or not it was true in the first place.

Now, once you determined it was in fact true how would you present it to others that had not studied it for themselves? How would you present it to Mr. Big Mouth, while he laughed at you and called you names? I suppose the unfortunate reality is that you can't. He either accepts it or he doesn't, you have to let him go his own route.

Does that cause damage to the truth? No. He is wrong not the truth. He can lift up his big mouth in protest, and he can convince everyone in the room that the mathematician is wrong. He can make fun of him and do whatever he wants to but it will not change the truth of the formula.

Now to a mathematician the more complex formula A= π*r2 is just as true as 2+2=4 because he understands the deeper truth. For instance, just by showing the formula to a mathematician he would instantly tell you it was true. It is the true formula for calculating the area of a circle.

The same applies to religious truth. The Truth does exist and you either have it or you don't and regardless of what you choose it does not damage the Truth in any way. If by chance someone has a better understanding than you do because they study more that doesn't mean you can negate the Truth simply because you don't understand it.

At each point of growth we truly must humble ourselves in deference to the Truth. We cannot diminish it by convincing everyone that our particular belief is correct or that somehow we all have our own beliefs and no one belief is any better than another's.

Now this begs the question, how do we know when we don't know something? This may sound like a riddle but consider it for a second. You see, Mr. Big Mouth truly believes he is right, sure there is some pride mixed in with it but the point is he doesn't see it as pride he sees it as a righteous defense of the truth.

Since we see Mr. Big Mouth caught in this web and blinded to his faults we should also look at our own faults to see that we too are not following a similar path.

A good sign that you are walking in the truth is that your doctrine will line up with the Bible. If you are ever challenged by someone quoting the scripture it would make good sense to study that point until you ensure that what you believe truly does line up with ALL of the scriptures, not just your favorite ones.

If you find that what you believe doesn't line up with the Bible then you must change what you believe. You must line your beliefs up with the Bible and that means walking a road of oft times being wrong and having to repent. If most of your time is spent repenting and humbling yourself to the scriptures then that too is a good sign.

We cannot simply follow the guy with the biggest mouth and feel secure in the Truth. We must continually study to show ourselves approved and be ready to answer any that inquire to the hope that is within us.

Proverbs 1:7 says "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction."

The Truth truly doesn't have a lot of tolerance for big mouths.

The Milk

For years I believed that all people had to do to be saved was to come to the altar, with a contrite spirit, accept Christ into their heart by believing that He died for their sins and then confess the event with their mouth.

On the surface I still believe this is true because on one level this is what the Bible tells us. However, what if you thought you were coming to Christ but actually it really wasn't Christ, what if you had a counterfeit christ, an antichrist.

Let's look at an earthly example. Suppose you loved a certain rock star. Suppose you bought all his albums and spoke his name to all your friends and family. Suppose you memorized all his songs and watched all his concerts and TV interviews. You loved everything he did and you lifted up his name at every chance. Then one day you decided you loved him so much that you wanted to meet him. So, you go to his house and suddenly realize that even though you have all this knowledge about him, HE DOESN'T KNOW YOU AT ALL.

Suddenly it becomes clear, you are not a disciple you are a stalker.

In this example we can see that no matter how much you know about him and try to follow him and talk about him and love him, if you don't really know Him then it is all for nothing.

Now, we know Jesus is God and not a rock star, so we understand that He is able to look into our hearts and know that we are doing these things, unlike our rock star example. Yet, in the Bible we see this very thing happens to many, many people.

We are told in Matthew 7:23 "
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." So how is it possible that even though He knows our heart could we still not be known by Him?

What we see here firstly is that it IS possible to end up in the same context as we saw in the "rock star" example, in spite of the fact that He is God and can look into our hearts. He will still tell the very people that actually do many things in His name to depart from him. How do we end up in this condition?

After all, we called His name "Jesus" when we went to the altar, we believed as well as we could at the time and we talked about him or confessed Him with our mouths. Perhaps we called His name with our lips but our actual hearts are far from him. Could this be true?

We see this is true and we understand that there are pretenders among us. These are the people who don't really put much thought into what they are doing for Christ. They don't study and they are caught up in worldly cares. They will put on a dress or a nice suit on Sunday and go to "Church" and act religious but the rest of the week you can not tell any difference between them and a regular sinner. They spend much more time following NASCAR than they do Christ.

Oh, they bow their heads when the preacher calls for prayer, they recite the national anthem, they love Mom and apple pie. They enjoy good country music that sings about Jesus (every now and again). They love having prayer before a NASCAR race but they love "gentlemen, start your engines" much more. (Do they even still say that nowadays?)

So lets be honest, more than likely YOU are in this group. In truth, you really don't care about the gospel. You're probably not rude about it but you're simply much more interested in the cares of this world than in seeking the Truth. This is no mystery. It is clear to anyone that you don't love Christ as much as you love football or NASCAR or whatever it is you spend your time doing instead of studying Christ. So when you hear the words, "I never knew you", don't be surprised.

This type person is easy to see through so we can move on for those that actually seek the Truth on a deeper level. Those of you that truly care, not superficially.

Knowing that Christ can see our hearts and assuming that we are not simple pretenders how is it that we could miss? We miss by never understanding WHO we are in Christ. To seek Christ is to seek the Truth. When the Truth visits you and you reject the Truth you are actually rejecting Jesus in favor of some other Jesus that you have built up in your mind.

The Jesus you have constructed doesn't exist except in your mind. To seek Jesus, is to be ready at all times to respond to any truth He sends your way and reject none of it.

The gospel is simple but it is straight and narrow and we must conform to His ways. We can expect to find that after we come to Christ we will realize very quickly that whatever it is we thought we knew is almost certain to be found wrong. You will be humbled and the more you study, the more humbled you will become.

You will pick up your cross and follow him. Along the way, your friends and family will not accept you. They will call you crazy and get mad as you draw closer to Christ and farther away from the world, and them.

At some point you will begin to understand the milk. While milk is what "baby" Christians start out with, you cannot even drink the milk until you are born. You do realize that you have to actually be born before you can eat?

So, the acceptance of Christ WILL get you to Heaven IF you die immediately after your heartfelt acceptance of him.

Basically, you would become the thief on the cross, dying just hours after coming to Christ. However, if you continue to live you MUST carry your cross and learn of him and follow his commandments. You cannot stay in the crib and live, but you must first take the milk.

This is where most of the pretenders are. Most of them at some point were actually born again in the spirit, they briefly tasted the milk and at that moment they were truly saved. Unfortunately they somehow began to believe that they didn't have to move on and seek the Truth. So, they lay there and die in the crib having barely sipped the milk.

The first thing most people usually think of after coming to Christ is that they must immediately stop "sinning" and tell everyone what happened and from then on be a totally different person and never look back. As the days roll past and the salvation experience fades in their minds they begin to slip and realize that they can't do this on their own. Soon after they die spiritually, they die, lying right there in the crib with an empty bottle in their mouth.

Why would Christ leave them alone? We know He wouldn't so why do we see this pattern so often? The answer is the so-called "Church" isn't actually leading people to the true Christ. They couldn't be, because a tree it known by its fruits and we see the "Church" today has bad fruit.

The truth is the Church is teaching false doctrines such as the believers will be caught up by a pre-trib rapture and that the physical Jews are God's chosen people. A young believer is never steered to the real Truth.

So, before we can eat meat we must drink milk. Here is the milk. You are born again into the House of Israel, you are indeed spiritual Israel, you are the adopted son of Abraham through Jesus Christ. You are the chosen people, you have the birthright, you are children of the promise, not the physical Jews (or physical anyone for that matter) as the so-called Church tells us today.

When the Church lifts up physical Israel it is actually lifting up the spirit of anti-christ. It is as simple as that.

1st John 4:3 plainly tells us how to recognize the spirit of anti-christ.
"And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

In case you don't know, the physical Jews in the land of Israel today flatly reject, deny and "confess not" that Jesus came in the flesh. So let there be no doubt, you cannot deny this and continue to believe your bible, the Israel over there in the middle east is the fulfillment of the spirit of anti-christ. It is the beast that was, and is not, and shall return. They have now returned.

So why in the world do we lead people to the spirit of anti-christ and then expect them to be able to do all the things that Christ expects of them? How foolish can we be to take someone to the anti-christ and expect them to become good Christians?

As Paul tells us in Galatians 3:3 "
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?" Having become born again, why do we go back to the physical? Yet we do, day after day, waiting to be "raptured" so the "chosen people" can come back to Christ.

You say you don't lead them to anti-christ, but what is that smelly thing sitting there, right smack dab in the middle of your belief structure?

Could it be that you believe the physical Jews are God's chosen people? Do you believe that they are first and we are just the lowly dogs that Christ ended up having to settle for after the true chosen people rejected him?

Do you say that Christ failed in his mission to save the lost sheep of the House of Israel? Or do you hide that belief by saying He will fulfill it "after the rapture"? I used to believe that claptrap, I was taught that dung!

You had better be Israel because those are the people He came to save. You cannot be saved and deny your birthright. You are Israel, not physical Israel but spiritual Israel. He came to save NO ONE else. You are the elect, the chosen people, the sons and daughters of God but only if you are in Christ.

Yet like poor Esau, how eager we are to give away our birthright for nothing. Esau lost his birthright for a bowl of soup, the Church has seemingly given theirs away for even less than that.

So That They Are Without Excuse

Sometimes I hear Christians tell people that they believe in God because of what they see in the creation. They will point to a bird flying and say something like "that's why I believe in God, his creation is so wonderful, it would take a wonderful God to create something so beautiful and graceful."

Possibly, they are referencing the verse in Romans 1:20 which tells us "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"

So, we say we understand the beauty of a bird or a sunset or maybe a high mountain and we look in awe and try our best to give God the glory and praise for it all. Now God does get the glory for these things, as they truly are beautiful and amazing. His creation is remarkable! The problem though is Christians always want to see things with their natural eye and frankly all these things we see are so commonplace to us now that the impact on non-believers is minimal.

This got me to thinking about this verse, if we read it carefully it tells us the "invisible things of him" are clearly seen. We talk about birds, sunsets and mountains but these are all things that we can see and this verse is telling us about invisible things that are "being understood by the things that are made".

This means we have an understanding of these things, as do ALL things that are made. Therefore we don't go to a classroom and learn about these things, we understand them instinctively, along with the rest of creation. So the birds, fish, animals and even the plants and insects have understanding, which basically means that they bear witness to these things naturally, through their actions.

So these invisible things, that we understand, include but are not limited to "even his eternal power and Godhead;" yet we think He is telling us to enjoy looking at his creation. Yet taking in all the natural beauty we totally miss the spiritual aspect, which is where our life is.

In our natural bodies is death, yet that is the first stop we always make when trying to understand the things of God. We want to run down and baptize our flesh, we want to see someone come to the altar, we want to bless physical Israel and on and on. Most look at the effect on the flesh first and many of those never consider the spiritual things, which again is where our life is.

All the things we do in our bodies, in the physical plane of existence, are death and will reap death and will burn. Our life is all about the spiritual. If the body can find a small portion of something that runs over from the spiritual cup then that is not a bad thing but even that will reap death which is the nature of the flesh.

We have it backward, instead of the body reaping a benefit of what the spirit enjoys we let our spirit feed on the crumbs of what our flesh understands and enjoys. That is why we look at the birds and try to make that fulfill this verse.

We are also told "that they are without excuse" so we will not be able to claim that we didn't understand, we will all be "without excuse". So while we can we need to look with our spiritual eye, since the spirit is where our life resides anyway. So let's try to see it from that perspective.

Think of a seed, how it must die before it can achieve its true nature. Unless an acorn falls to the ground and dies it can not sprout into a great tree. This is true of all seeds, they must die. You see their empty husks break open as the life inside sprouts into what it was designed to become. This is the same in our lives as our flesh must also fall away and die before our true self can spout into its fullness.

Again, a caterpillar must be changed before its true nature can be revealed and it becomes a butterfly and more creatures do this before they attain their full adult nature. We see the shadowing of these things in nature and they are "clearly seen" and understood by us and even the lowly caterpillar bears witness.

Further, our natural bodies get dirty. We must shower each day to keep the filth off of us, just as we must wash clean our sins by the blood of Christ. We must eat to nourish our bodies just as we must eat of the Word of God in order to nourish our spirits.

We also see the Godhead, which is the understanding of the trinity in our lives. Most of us have several different titles such as a man who begins as someone's son, he will then usually becomes someone's husband and eventually he will be someone's father. This acknowledges the eternal Godhead of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the same way we are fathers, sons and husbands. These things are natural to us and yet most people never even think about it.

If you see what these examples in nature tell us about the invisible things of God, you can further understand that even in the "non-completion" of these things the Lord is glorified. For we know the path is narrow and few there be that will find it.

Therefore we see that not everyone attains the titles of father, son and husband. Not every caterpillar turns into a butterfly, nor every acorn into a tree. If you don't take a shower you will stink. If you don't eat you will die. It is clear these things don't have to be completed. In fact we can say that the great majority don't make it to the fulfillment of their true purpose.

Unfortunately, the great majority of people in the world will not find the straight and narrow path either. Yet there is one thing we all must do. We all sleep and we all wake up, there is no getting out of that.

We can only stay away so long then we shut down and nothing can stop it, after we sleep we wake up again, there are no exceptions, the whole creation goes through this. Just as we will all one day, good or bad not withstanding, be resurrected and stand before God. Sleep is a reenacting of death and the resurrection is reenacted by waking again, and not just the resurrection of just but also of the unjust since the whole creation does it. There will be two resurrections and no one gets out, you will go to one or the other, there are no exceptions.

These things are naturally understood yet most of us never think much about it. Imagine standing before God and he explains how you acted out the resurrection every day of your life. He explains that you filled the role of the Godhead in your life, you showered away dirt and filth from your body, you watched butterflies and saw acorns grow into large trees and somehow you never caught on to any of these "invisible things of God".

So, the creation truly does understand these things. They are ingrained in us at our innermost beings, they are natural to us and ultimately we will all be without excuse.

THE CASE OF THE DISAPPEARING EARTHQUAKE

IS IT POSSIBLE A COVER UP IS IN PROGRESS CONCERNING AN 8.4 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE THAT HIT LIBYA ON MAY 19th **updated**

A few days back I ran a story on the beams of HAARP that had been turned back up. I speculated that a major earthquake was possible due to this evidence. I assumed the target was the New Madrid fault line but now it seems that a large 8.4 earthquake has hit Libya but for some reason it is getting absolutely no coverage.

People are referring to this as "the case of the missing earthquake". As incredible as it sounds it does appear that a very large 8.4 magnitude earthquake has hit Libya, data reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, clearly shows that it was a 8.4 magnitude earthquake. The strange thing is that now most all of the data has been purged from the reporting sites.

According to many researchers on the net, almost every scrap of data that showed the 8.4 magnitude earthquake has been deleted. One researcher that was following the event as it occurred reported that "all the sites that had info are wiped clean now…. why would that be?"

No one is talking about this. There are just a few scraps of data left that I can find and even those appeared to be tampered with. The only offer of explanation was given by an internet reporter who claims the 8.4 earthquake was the result of an equipment error and that the earthquake was really just a 5.2 and also that it had struck in the middle of the Libyan desert where the population is scarce. It appears just as likely that the 5.2 earthquake was an aftershock of the larger 8.4.

People are beginning to suspect HAARP since the beams we reported earlier this week have been turned back down and they came down on the 19th right around the time of this "missing earthquake". It is unthinkable that something like this could be covered up but as of now that seems to be exactly the case.

Either way the silence from the mainstream media is deafening, with all the talk of HAARP you would think someone would cover the story but unfortunately, none of the brain-dead zombies who watch the mainstream media believes in HAARP.

And we can rest well knowing the mainstream media isn’t going to say anything like that to the sheeple.

editors note: While this disappearing earthquake is mysterious, a crucial point was missing about the HAARP story. The beams that were transmitted were not 2.5 earthquake frequency beams but instead the main beam was at 1.7 which is the frequency for severe weather, including tornadoes. It can now be said that the tornado disaster in Joplin MO was HAARP induced.

We are fish in a barrel! The elite have now proven they can do to us as they wish and almost no one suspects a thing.

GET READY. HAARP HAS BEEN TURNED ON AGAIN

THERE IS EVIDENCE THAT HAARP HAS BEEN TURNED ON AGAIN AND ITS TARGET THIS TIME IS THE NEW MADRID FAULT LINE

If you are in the New Madrid fault line area of Indiana, Illinois, Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee be on the look out for glowing clouds, which are a signal of HAARP energy coming through the clouds and being directed into a particular location.

There is now strong evidence coming from the HAARP induction magnetometer that shows several distinct beams which are being transmitted into the region on full blast.

These signals were seen in Haiti, forty hours later a devastating earthquake. In Japan the induction magnetometer again showed a beam, fifty-five hours later another devastating earthquake. Now we are seeing these signals again, only now there are four distinct signals reading off the scale, all going off at once. Whatever, they are doing it should be huge.

If this attempt is successful, we should soon and very soon see a tremendous earthquake, more than likely in the New Madrid fault line area.

You may be interested to know that FEMA is also conducting a large weeklong exercise in the New Madrid region that will simulate a catastrophic earthquake.

A quote pulled from the FEMA blogsite states "The NLE 11 functional exercise, which will simulate a catastrophic earthquake in the New Madrid Seismic Zone, is scheduled to take place at venues in the national capital region and throughout the central U.S. These exercise activities are being carefully balanced with the current flooding and tornado-related disasters that FEMA and its partners are responding to, and adjustments have been made to exercise plans accordingly."

You may remember before 911 the government also just happened to be conducting exercises that simulated a similar attack on the area.

All signs point to an attack on the New Madrid fault sometime in the immediate future.

Be vigilant and pray.

May Day Trigger Pulled

Well, just as I was beginning to believe my "May Day" story from a few weeks ago was not going to pan out this year, what do we see?

Yesterday, May 1st, the trigger to massive riots was pulled. Bin Laden had supposedly been killed.

Now, I don't believe this claptrap news that he has been killed but that will not stop the riots.

This event probably had an element of being a well placed distraction story but rest assured that it fulfills the opportunity to celebrate May Day with riots triggered or beginning on said day.

We will have to see what happens.

Arabs Riot in Jerusalem Over Bin Laden's Demise, Hamas Angry

Similarly, Arabs in the village of Silwan, adjacent to the City of David neighborhood in Jerusalem, rioted Monday night in protest over the elimination of Osama Bin Laden.

I wonder what next year will bring?

I Will Bless Those That Bless Thee

Today the Church heaps blessings all over physical Israel because they understand that God promised Abraham that all who would bless him and his seed would also be blessed and all those who cursed him would also be cursed. So, since 1948 when Israel was reformed, the Church has been heaping blessings all over them, it would seem that God should be very pleased with them and return all those blessings but unfortunately that has not been the case.

It doesn't make sense. After all, they heap honor and blessings all over physical Israel. They donate money to the temple rebuilding project, they get excited when they talk of restarting the daily sacrifice and they cherish stories and souvenirs from the country. Yet, when we look around, what do we see? Do we see the blessings being returned as the promise states or do we see curses?

Of course, we see curses, especially from a Christian perspective which includes moral values but also in most every other way we are seeing curses. So what's the problem here? The modern Church has been Israel's greatest friend haven't they? Maybe they haven't blessed them enough. Perhaps they should send more money over there and maybe then God would toss over a blessing or two.

Logically we know there is something wrong with this picture. The truth is if you toss a little blessing toward Israel you should reap that same little blessing back. From all of the blessings that have been heaped on Israel there should have been a decent return on them by now but we simply haven't seen that.

So what's the true problem? The actual answer to the dilemma is that they are not blessing Abraham's seed at all. The Church has been mistakenly blessing the spirit of antichrist, which is alive and well in physical Israel. How can I say that? Well, John tells us clearly how to recognize the spirit of antichrist:

"And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." 1st John 4:3

Somehow what the Church has been missing is that the true seed of Abraham, and the real child with the promise is not the Jews (as of many) but Christ (as of one). We are plainly told this in scripture, yet they still miss it and not only have they NOT blessed him, they've actually chased him off and now stand guard at the door to see he doesn't get back in.

The true children of Abraham are those who believe on Jesus and through him have become the sons and daughters of God. YOU are Israel if you are in Christ. The Church has been blessing the wrong folks.

Matthew 1:1 gives us our answer "The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham."

When Christ died on the cross He fulfilled the prophets by translating the house of Israel from the physical house into a spiritual house. The Church should be blessing spiritual Israel who is Christ, not physical Israel. Paul explains it to us in Romans 9: 6-8

"Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed."

So we see that the physical, flesh and blood Jews are not the Jews anymore. The real Jew is a spiritual Jew, as Paul explains further in Romans 2: 28-29

"For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."

Israel has been remade as a spiritual body as Jeremiah prophesied in Chapter 8: 4-6

"And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel."

If you are in Christ you are that new vessel. We are the clay and God is the potter, when Christ died for our sins, this was the fulfillment of Jeremiah's prophecy "Oh Israel, I'm I not able to remake you as the potter remakes the vessel?" You see, God took the old, physical Israel and remolded them into a new house under the same name and the new was remade of the spirit.

Wow, imagine that! You really are a chosen people, based on your spiritual lineage not your physical one. You are not second to Israel, YOU ARE ISRAEL!!

Wow, what a wonderful thing to realize! How wonderful!! We are not second class citizens waiting to take our place after the physical Jews come back to Christ. (and I pray that many more of them do come to Christ) This is why the Jewish people got so mad at Paul and Peter, they we're telling them this very thing and they hated to hear that salvation no longer had anything to do with their flesh.

Still you either accept this or you don't and many cannot hear it. Acts 13:41 Paul refers to Habakkuk 1:5 when he tells the Jews at the synagogue in Pisidia the truth. "Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you."

A week later they chased Paul and Barnabas out of their city. If you have ever wondered why they got so mad, now you know. God turned the world upside down and did a work that they in no wise believed. Actually, many still don't believe it and it seems they still get just about as angry about it also.

So, if you reject that you are an Israelite by the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his sacrifice then you have rejected the promise, you have rejected your birthright and that is not a good thing. He came only to save the lost sheep of the house of Israel, not the so-called "Church". There are not two saved groups. There's only one flock and one shepard over them.

Look around you. Look how your plan of blessing physical Israel has panned out. What has it gotten you? Blessings? I don't think so, rather there have been curses. If we do good to Israel, which we supposedly have done, then there should have been more and more blessings not less and less blessings.

That alone should prove to you that the so-called "Church" is blessing the wrong group of people.

Just try it. Heap a few blessings on Christ and while you are at it heap a few blessing on those who honestly follow Christ and see if those blessing don't come back to you.

They will.
