Below is a segment of a chapter from the book I am writing. I hope to have it finished soon but I haven't set a deadline. Keep watching for updates on the progress. Blessings.

In Romans 2:28-29 we find two verses that seem
to boggle the mind.
Yet both verses are simple statements of fact,
made under divine inspiration by the Apostle Paul, and they often send people
into conniption fits. Christians concoct the stupidest explanations in vain attempts
to explain away these two verses rather than accept their simple truth.
Why the resistance? Well, upon these two verses
rests the identity of God’s chosen people, the question of who is a Jew and who
is not a Jew. It is clearly explained here but many so called Christians today
will hear nothing of it. They are convinced that they already know who God’s
chosen people are and the issue is not up for examination, thus you will hear
nothing of this from the pulpit today.
So, it may surprise you, the honest reader, to
find out that the scriptures go to great lengths in explaining who the chosen
people are and nothing is left to chance interpretation because nothing short
of your identity in Christ is at stake here. So, let’s look at these two verses
now:
“For he is not a Jew, which is one
outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he
is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the
spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.”
Now please carefully examine Paul’s words, he
begins: “For he is not a Jew”. Paul is about to tell us who is NOT a Jew. Did
you get that? He is about to explain what a person who is not a Jew looks like
or how to identify a non-Jew.
Now forgive me for my patronizing tone but so
many refuse to see this and as such must be spoken to as if they were children.
I pray you are not one of these stubborn individuals and will open your heart
to the truth. You will not be offended if you love the truth. Let’s continue
our study.
He says that person “which is one outwardly”.
In other words a non-Jew looks outwardly like a Jew. In fact, he would likely have
many physical features that appear to be Jewish features or perhaps he often wears
a yarmulke and a tallit and he attends synagogue. This person, who is outwardly
Jewish, is simply not a Jew.
How can this be? It seems that Paul just told
us that a Jew is not a Jew. He looks like a Jew, acts like a Jew and even has
Jewish blood in his veins yet Paul says this person is NOT a Jew. Is Paul off
his rocker? Let’s read on and see what else Paul says about someone who is not
a Jew.
“Neither is that circumcision, which is outward
in the flesh:” So Paul makes a direct hit at the very heart of Judaism by
saying that even those who are circumcised in their flesh are not Jewish. Now Paul,
being an Israelite of the tribe of Benjamin, knew exactly what he was doing by
speaking of the circumcision.
Since the days of Abraham, circumcision has
been a hidden but necessary symbol between God and His chosen people. To be in
conformance with Jewish law every male child had to be circumcised on the
eighth day. If you were not circumcised you were not considered Jewish.
So, perhaps you can see why the Jews hated
Paul, just as they hated Jesus before him. Paul has just explained that a
non-Jew will be one who is circumcised outwardly in his flesh.
You may not realize the condemnation of Judaism
embedded in this statement. Paul leaves nothing to chance; he is directly
telling us that those who rejected Christ and who we know as Jewish both
historically and those currently living in the Middle East are not Jews at all.
Don’t misunderstand! Paul is not saying they
are Khazars, he isn’t saying their DNA morphed into something else, he isn’t
saying that all the intermingling that took placed change them into non-Jews,
he isn’t saying anything about migration patterns of their ancestors. What he
is telling us is spiritual. Those who have rejected Christ are no longer Jews
because the Jewish people are not a fleshly people any longer; every Jew on the
planet is now spiritual.
Now, if I were standing in most any pulpit in
America today and made that statement I would be removed from my position
immediately. The fact that this is exactly what Paul is telling us wouldn’t
matter. (That detail would be dialoged away later) and I would be labeled a
blasphemer against God’s holy people.
Now, there is no doubt that Israel has always
been God’s chosen and they still are today, the problem is that we simply don’t
know who Israel is and rather than listen to Paul we continue to believe lies.
